If you are interested in coming to Georgia Tech as a J-1 student intern, you will work with a host department to determine your research project. After a supervising faculty has been identified, the Human Resources administrator for the host department will submit a DS-2019 request on your behalf. Please work with your host department directly for information regarding your DS-2019 request.
You should be prepared to show financial documentation meeting OIE's Financial Document Requirements in the amount of at least $1,800/month for each month of your internship. For example, if your internship will be 6 months in length, you will be required to show at least $10,800.
