Georgia Tech J-1 Exchange Visitor Employees
J-1 exchange visitors who are employed by Georgia Tech and enrolled in the University System of Georgia have access to a variety of wellness and support resources. These resources are designed to promote overall well-being and provide support when needed.
Available resources include:
- OneUSG Connect (benefits access and management)
- USG Well-Being Programs
- Live Events Calendar
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Mental Health Resources
For additional information and access to these services, exchange visitors are encouraged to visit the USG Faculty and Staff Portal.
J-1 Exchange Visitor Non-Employees (Affiliates)
J-1 exchange visitors who are not considered Georgia Tech employees, but affiliates, are not eligible to enroll in a USG healthcare plan. OIE recommends exchange visitors contact their individual health insurance providers directly to learn about additional services and support options covered under their plans.
